Recreation

There are many different parks to choose from in Franklin. Whitnall Park and Wehr Nature center offer a more traditional park experience with lots of trails and trees to enjoy. “The Rock” ski hill, previously known as Crystal Ridge, was recently revamped and is highly praised for its many terrain parks and the many hills that are friendly to skiers and snowboarders of all proficiencies. Kayla’s Playground is mostly a normal park--nice to trails to walk, beautiful scenery--but features an important and special difference to other parks: the playground is wheelchair accessible and lots of fun!

As far as restaurants go, there is just as much variety! Mimosa is a popular brunch joint that offers, of course, mimosas, as well as other traditional brunch foods with a personal twist. Asian Garden, India Palace, and Stummy’s Burger and Deli are just a few of the other awesome options that Franklin offers.
