Thanks to a great local job market, many outdoor recreation opportunities, and diverse housing options, Menomonee Falls was rated the 32nd best small town in America in 2015 by Money magazine. With almost 36,000 people residing in Menomonee Falls, it is the most populous village in Wisconsin. Germantown neighbors Menomonee Falls to the north, while Brookfield borders the village to the south. Menomonee Falls, located in Waukesha County just west of Interstate 41, is part of the Greater Milwaukee area. The village was named after the Menomonee River that meanders through the community and the waterfall in the middle of the village.

Manufacturing and business services are two of the main industries found in Menomonee Falls. Both Kohl’s and Magnetek have their headquarters in the village. There are many housing options to choose from in Menomonee Falls, from condos on the river to new developments to sprawling houses with ample land.

The Bugline Recreational Trail is a 16-mile pathway perfect for joggers and bikers, located where a railroad once lay. Approximately 464 beautiful acres of rolling hills, maple wood forests, serene marshes, and scenic wetlands make up Menomonee Park. In the park, there is a 16-acre lake ideal for boating, swimming, and fishing. The Fox River flows through the 18-hole Wanaki Golf Course, making the course challenging, yet still fun. The village is known for the many community events and festivals throughout the year, such as Falls Fest, Jingle Bell Craft Fair, and the Independence Day Parade. Menomonee Falls is a short 20-minute drive from downtown Milwaukee and is only 10 miles west of Lake Michigan.
