The Milwaukee River snakes through Glendale and features a waterfall, making it an ideal spot for catching spawning salmon.If a little more exercise is in the cards, take your bikes down the Oak Leaf Trail! The Oak Leaf Trail stretches 96.4 miles and winds through downtown Milwaukee.

There used to be many quarries in Glendale, as it used to be a mining town. Today, many of them have been repurposed as lakes and Glendale residents have built their homes around the beautiful man-made lakes to enjoy the views. Visit some of these lakes with your family for some summertime fun!
