About Slinger
Known for its unique recreation opportunities and award-winning school district, Slinger is a lively village of over 5,000 residents. Located in Washington County, Slinger is bordered by Hartford to the west and by Polk to the north, east, and south. Prior to 1921, the village was named “Schleisingerville” after Baruch Schleisinger Weil, who founded the area and eventually became a State Senator.
