Rural charm meets new development in this small village in Ozaukee County. Fredonia, located in between the Milwaukee River and Highway 57, is positioned 30 miles north of Milwaukee and 20 miles southwest of Sheboygan. Random Lake borders it to the north, while Saukville neighbors it to the south.

Formerly known as Stoney Creek, the land was donated to the Milwaukee and Northern Railway Corporation in the late 1800s.
